How much notice do you need to start?

Two weeks for a delivery audit or sprint governance; four to six for delivery rescue (it usually takes a discovery call and a half-day on site to scope the rescue properly).

Can you run delivery a few days a week, ongoing?

Yes. The fractional delivery lead mode is built for that. A fixed number of days a week, a clear remit, and a review date. Senior leadership without a permanent hire. We keep it bounded so it does not quietly become a full-time seat.

How is this priced?

Day rate, not retainer. Engagement shape determines the count. A delivery audit is typically a flat five-day package; sprint governance and delivery rescue are scoped per engagement after the discovery call. Day rate quoted on enquiry.

How long are most engagements?

A delivery audit wraps in a week. Sprint governance runs two to four weeks. Delivery rescue runs four to twelve weeks. Anything longer than three months and you probably need a permanent delivery lead, not advisory.

What deliverables come out of a delivery audit?

A written brief, typically eight to twelve pages, covering schedule risk, scope risk, team capability, governance gaps, and a named recommended action for each. No slides.

When should I hire a permanent leader instead?

If you want senior leadership ongoing but not full-time, the fractional mode covers it. If the team needs a permanent, day-to-day leader, hire one. Delivery Consulting is advisory and leadership, not a junior PM seat.
